The Journal of Aquatic and Fisheries Products Technology (AFISH) welcomes original research articles and scholarly contributions within the scope of aquatic and fisheries products technology.

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Manuscripts submitted by email or other means will not be considered for publication unless specifically requested by the editorial office.

1. Submission Requirements

Before submitting a manuscript, authors are required to ensure that:

  1. The manuscript is an original work and has not been previously published.
  2. The manuscript is not currently under consideration by another journal.
  3. The manuscript is within the aims and scope of AFISH.
  4. The manuscript has been prepared according to the AFISH Author Guidelines and manuscript template.
  5. The manuscript is submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  6. All authors have approved the submitted version of the manuscript and agree with its submission to AFISH.
  7. The corresponding author has provided a valid email address and complete institutional affiliation.
  8. All sources cited in the manuscript are appropriately acknowledged and included in the reference list.
  9. The manuscript complies with applicable research ethics, publication ethics, and academic integrity requirements.
  10. Authors disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to the submitted work.

2. Online Submission Process

Authors must register and log in to the AFISH OJS platform before submitting a manuscript. During the submission process, authors are required to provide the manuscript information, upload the manuscript file, enter the metadata of all authors, provide the abstract and keywords, and complete the required submission declarations.

Authors should carefully check all submission information before completing the submission process. Any errors in author names, affiliations, manuscript title, abstract, or other metadata may affect the publication process.

3. Editorial and Peer Review

After submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening to determine its suitability for the journal's scope and compliance with the submission requirements. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are subsequently evaluated through the journal's double-blind peer review process.

Submission does not guarantee acceptance. The final decision regarding publication is made by the editorial team based on the results of the editorial assessment and peer review.

4. Submission and Publication Fees

AFISH provides free submission and publication. Authors are not charged any manuscript submission fee, Article Processing Charge (APC), peer review fee, or publication fee.

5. Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for ensuring that the submitted manuscript is accurate, original, ethically conducted, and compliant with all applicable journal policies. Authors should also ensure that all individuals who meet the authorship criteria are appropriately listed as authors and that all listed authors have approved the final manuscript.

By submitting a manuscript to AFISH, authors confirm that they have read and agreed to the journal's Author Guidelines, Peer Review Policy, Open Access Policy, Publication Ethics, and other applicable journal policies.
