Open Access Policy

Journal of Aquatic and Fisheries Products Technology (AFISH) provides immediate and unrestricted open access to all published articles. All articles are freely available online without subscription fees, registration requirements, or other access charges.

AFISH supports the principle that open access to scientific research promotes the advancement of knowledge, improves research visibility, facilitates scholarly communication, and broadens the dissemination of scientific findings.

All articles published by AFISH are freely accessible immediately upon publication.

1. Free Access to Published Articles

Readers may access the full text of all articles published by AFISH without payment or subscription.

Readers are permitted to:

  • read and access published articles online;
  • download and save articles for lawful purposes;
  • share and redistribute published articles;
  • reuse and adapt published materials in accordance with the applicable license.

2. Creative Commons License

All articles published by AFISH are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Under this license, users may copy, distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon published material for any purpose, including commercial purposes, provided that:

  • appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the original publication in AFISH;
  • a link to the applicable license is provided;
  • changes made to the original material are clearly indicated; and

3. Copyright Holder

Copyright of articles published in the Journal of Aquatic and Fisheries Products Technology (AFISH) is held by the journal.

The published work is made available to readers and other users under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which permits reuse, redistribution, adaptation, and further development in accordance with the terms of the license.

Authors retain attribution and recognition for their scholarly contribution and must be properly credited whenever their published work is reused, distributed, or adapted.

Copyright ownership and licensing are distinct. AFISH holds the copyright to published articles, while the CC BY-SA 4.0 license defines how the published material may be reused by others.

4. Author Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts are original and that any copyrighted material from third parties is used with appropriate permission where required.

Authors must ensure that figures, tables, images, data, or other third-party materials included in their manuscripts do not violate copyright, intellectual property rights, or applicable license terms.

5. No Article Processing Charge

AFISH operates under a no-fee open access model. The journal does not charge readers or institutions for access to published articles.

Authors are also not required to pay any Article Processing Charge (APC), submission fee, peer-review fee, or publication fee.

Access to published articles and publication of accepted manuscripts are both provided free of charge.
