Plagiarism Policies

FORUM EKONOMI: Jurnal Ekonomi, Manajemen dan Akuntansi applies zero tolerance to plagiarism. Each manuscript submitted to  the FORUM EKONOMI: Jurnal Ekonomi, Manajemen dan Akuntansi will be scanned using Turnitin (similarity check) then the editor decides on the possibility of plagiarism. A similarity report will be provided to the author, and the editor of FORUM EKONOMI: Jurnal Ekonomi, Manajemen dan Akuntansi, will take the following actions:

  1. Similarity check results of more than 30%: Manuscript will be rejected (due to poor citation and/or poor paraphrasing, manuscript rejected totally, NO RESUBMISSIONS ACCEPTED).
  2. Similarity check results are about 15-30%: The manuscript will be sent to the author for change (provide correct citations to all similarity places and do good paraphrasing even if citations are provided).
  3. Similarity check results less than 20%: Will proceed to substantive review or citation corrections may be required (proper citations must be provided for all outsourced text).

In cases 2 and 3: The author must carefully revise the article, add the necessary citations, do good paraphrasing on the outsourced text, and then resubmit the manuscript with a new Turnitin report showing NO PLAGIARISM and the similarity must be less than 20%.
