Peer Review Process

All submissions to Panakeia Journal undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality, original research. The review process follows these steps:

  1. Initial Screening: Each manuscript is first evaluated by the editorial team to ensure it aligns with the journal's focus and scope and meets the basic quality standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected without further review.

  2. Double-Blind Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. The double-blind review process ensures that both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other, promoting objective and unbiased evaluations.

  3. Reviewer's Feedback: Reviewers provide constructive feedback and recommendations regarding the manuscript's originality, methodological rigor, significance, and clarity. They may suggest acceptance, minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection.

  4. Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' comments and recommendations, the Editor in Chief will make the final decision. Manuscripts requiring revisions will be returned to the authors for further improvement.

  5. Revisions: Authors are given an opportunity to address reviewers' comments and resubmit their revised manuscript. The revised version may be sent for a second round of review if necessary.

  6. Final Decision: Once the manuscript meets the journal's standards, it will be accepted for publication. The authors will be notified of the final decision, and accepted papers will proceed to the production stage.

The entire peer review process typically takes 4-6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the manuscript and the responsiveness of the reviewers.
