Plagiarism Policy
The ANDIL Mulawarman J Comm Engag Editorial Team recognizes that plagiarism is unacceptable and therefore sets out the following policy which states the specific actions (penalties) when plagiarism is identified in an article submitted for publication on ANDIL Mulawarman J Comm Engag.
Definition:
Plagiarism is the act of intentionally or unintentionally obtaining or attempting to obtain credit or grades for a scientific work, by quoting part or all of the work and / or scientific work of others recognized as their scientific work, without properly and adequately stating the source.
Therefore: Articles must be original, unpublished, and not in the process of awaiting publication elsewhere. Material taken verbally from other sources needs to be clearly identified as distinct from the original text.
If plagiarism is identified, then, the Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the review of the article and will approve action according to the level of plagiarism detected, with the following guidelines:
Plagiarism Level
1. Plagiarized part of a short sentence from another article without citing the source. Action: The author is given a warning and a request to amend the text and cite correctly.
2. Plagiarized a large part of another article without proper citation and did not mention the source. Action: The submitted article is rejected for publication in this Journal and the Author may be sanctioned not to be allowed publication in ANDIL Mulawarman J Comm Engag.
All authors of the article are responsible for the content of the article they submitted as they all signed the ANDIL Mulawarman J Comm Engag Statement of Publication Ethics/Letter of Originality Form. If the article is classified as plagiarism, then all authors will be subject to the same action.
If the author is proven to submit a manuscript to ANDIL Mulawarman J Comm Engag by simultaneously submitting it to another journal, and this overlap is found during the reviewer process or after publication, then action will be taken according to point 2 above.
If plagiarism is found outside the above rules, the editors of ANDIL Mulawarman J Comm Engag have the right to impose sanctions according to the editorial team's policy.
Plagiarism Check
ANDIL Mulawarman J Comm Engag has its own rules about plagiarism. Every author who has submitted their manuscript has the obligation to check for plagiarism. The level of plagiarism allowed is no more than 25%. The editorial team will not send to the reviewer if the plagiarism check result is more than 25% and will be returned to the author for improvement.
