Author Guidelines
Submission Process Authors who already have an account may log in directly to submit an article. New authors must register first prior to submission. The complete article submission guidelines can be downloaded [here]. The manuscript submission form can be downloaded [here] and must be submitted once the article has passed the editorial review process.
General Notes for Authors

Accepted Articles: The journal accepts research findings in the form of Original Articles or Review Articles related to general aquatic and marine sciences.

Language: Manuscripts can be written in either Indonesian or English.

Formatting Requirements: Manuscripts must be typed using Times New Roman, 11-point font, single-spaced, on A4-sized paper (210 mm x 297 mm). Margins must be 2 cm on all sides (top, bottom, left, and right). The text should be formatted in a single column, justified, with a minimum length of 9 pages and a maximum of 11 pages, including figures and tables. Manuscript Sequence: Title, Names of all authors, Institutional affiliations and corresponding e-mail, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.

Section Numbering: Main sections are numbered using Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, etc.). Sub-sections follow the main section number format (e.g., 2.1, 2.2, etc.).
Manuscript Composition
-
Article Title: The title (in both Indonesian and English) should be written in capital letters, Bold, and any species names must be italicized.

Author Names: Written below the title, without academic degrees, Bold, and Centered. For authors from different institutions, use superscript numbers (e.g., Author Name¹) corresponding to their listed affiliations.

Author Affiliations: Written below the author names, including the complete address and street name. The corresponding author must include an active email address.

Abstract: The abstract must be provided in both Indonesian and English. It should be a maximum of 250 words, written in a single paragraph (justified), single-spaced, using Times New Roman 11-point font, and not bolded. The English abstract must be written in italics.

Keywords: Provide 3 to 6 keywords.

Introduction: Contains the research background, outlining the current state of knowledge (state of the art), identification of the research gap, and concluding with the proposed problem-solving approach or research objectives. The introduction must not contain sub-sections.

Methodology: Details the research location (including a sampling location map), research period, and an explanation of the methods and data analysis used. This can be supplemented with formulas, figures, or tables if necessary. This section can be divided into sub-sections.

Results and Discussion: Combined into a single section. This part presents the research findings and their comprehensive discussion. Results can be presented in tables (e.g., Table 1) and graphs/figures (e.g., Figure 2). Figure titles must be placed below the figure, while table titles must be placed above the table. Tables should only use horizontal borders (no vertical lines). Descriptions of units and statistical significance values must be clearly stated. This section can be divided into sub-sections.

Conclusion: Contains the implications of the results and discussion; it should not merely summarize the Results and Discussion section. The conclusion must directly answer the research objectives.

References: Formatted with a hanging indent of 0.85 cm. A minimum of 25 references is required. The use of reference management software such as Mendeley is highly recommended. The citation and referencing format must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition. At least 80% of the total references must be articles from reputable (accredited) journals. It is highly recommended to cite literature published within the last 10 years.

Author Guidelines
Proses submisi artikel bagi penulis yang telah memiliki akun dapat langsung melakukan login. Bagi penulis baru, dapat melakukan registrasi terlebih dahulu. Panduan submission artikel dapat diunduh di sini. Formulir penyerahan naskah artikel dapat diunduh di sini, dan diserahkan ketika artikel telah melewati proses pemeriksaan oleh editor jurnal.
Catatan Untuk Penulis:
- Artikel yang dapat diterima adalah hasil-hasil penelitian berupa Original Articles atau Review Articles yang berkaitan dengan ilmu perairan umum dan kelautan.
- Artikel dapat ditulis dengan menggunakan format Bahasa Indonesia atau Bahasa Inggris
- Artikel ditulis menggunakan huruf Times New Roman ukuran font 11, spasi satu pada kertas berukuran A4 (lebar 210 mm dan panjang 297 mm), batas tepi kiri-kanan dan atas-bawah masing-masing 2 cm, satu kolom, justified, minimum 9 halaman dan maksimum 11 halaman termasuk gambar dan tabel. Sistematika penulisan dapat diunduh pada template jurnal
- Urutan dari artikel tersebut adalah: Judul, Nama seluruh peneliti, Alamat institusi dan alamat e-mail koresnpondensi, Abstrak/Abstract, Keywords / Kata Kunci, Pendahuluan, Metodologi, Hasil dan Pembahasan, Kesimpulan,
- Penomoran Bab menggunakan angka (1, 2, 3 dst). Penomoran sub-bab menggunakan format angka 2.1, 2.2, dst mengikuti nomor Bab.
Komposisi Artikel:
- Judul Artikel : Judul (dalam bahasa Indonesia dan Inggris) ditulis dengan huruf kapital, Bold, dan Untuk penulisan nama spesies dicetak miring.
- Nama Penulis : ditulis dibawah judul, tanpa gelar, Bold, dan Center. Nama kedua dstnya apabila dari institusi yang berbeda diberi tanda angka dan diketik superscript (xxx1) ) sesuai dengan urutan penyebutan alamatnya
- Alamat Institusi Penulis : ditulis dibawah nama penulis, lengkap dengan nama jalan. Penulis penanggung jawab mencantumkan alamat email untuk koresponden
- Abstrak/Abstract: Abstrak ditulis dalam bentuk Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris. Abstrak maksimum 250 kata, ditulis hanya dalam bentuk satu paragraph (justified), spasi satu, huruf Times New Roman ukuran font 11, dan tidak bold. Abstrak dalam Bahasa Inggris ditulis miring (italic)
- Kata kunci/ Keywords : jumlah kata kunci adalah 3 sampai 6 kata.
- Pendahuluan : Memuat latar belakang penelitian yang berisi pengetahuan terkini terkait penelitian (state of the art), identifikasi kesenjangan pengetahuan (research gap) dan diakhiri dengan pemecahan masalah yang diajukan atau tujuan penelitian dari studi yang dilakukan. Pendahuluan tidak memiliki sub-bab
- Metodologi : Metodologi berisi lokasi penelitian (peta lokasi sampling) dan waktu penelitian serta penjelasan metode dan analisis yang digunakan yang dilengkapi dengan rumus, gambar atau tabel apabila diperlukan. Isi metodologi dapat ditulis menjadi beberapa sub-bab
- Hasil dan Pembahasan : Hasil dan pembahasan dibuat dalam satu bab. Bagian ini memuat hasil-hasil penelitian yang diperoleh serta pembahasannya. Hasil penelitian dapat disajikan dalam bentuk tabel (Tabel 1) dan grafik (Gambar 2). Judul gambar diletakkan di bawah gambar, sedangkan judul tabel diletakkan di atas tabel. garis Tabel yang ditampilkan hanyalah garis horisontal saja Deskripsi unit/satuan dan nilai signifikansi dari hasil uji statistik harus dicantumkan dengan jelas. Isi Hasil dan Pembahasan dapat ditulis menjadi beberapa sub-bab.
- Kesimpulan : Kesimpulan berisi implikasi dari hasil dan pembahasan, namun bukan merupakan ringkasan Hasil dan Pembahasan. Kesimpulan harus menjawab tujuan penelitian
- Daftar Pustaka : Penulisan referensi menggunakan format hanging 0,85 cm. Jumlah referensi minimal 25 referensi. Referensi disarankan ditulis dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Mendeley. Format penulisan referensi menggunakan American Psychological Association 7th edition. Minimal 80% dari total jumlah pustaka merupakan artikel dari jurnal bereputasi (terakreditasi). Disarankan menggunakan kutipan pustaka 10 tahun terakhir. Berikut contoh penulisan Pustaka:
