Abstract

The development of product legality at UMK Dasawisma aims to assist UMK Dasawisma business actors operating on Jalan Lempake Tepian, Rt.02 Gang Bubuhan, Lempake Village, North Samarinda District, Samarinda City, East Kalimantan. This activity is intended to enhance the understanding of the importance of product legality before it is marketed more widely. However, during its implementation, problems were found in the UMKM Dasawisma that were assisted. We provided understanding and solutions regarding product legality to address the issues encountered. This assistance was carried out at UMKM Dasawisma Twister, led by Heny Nurhayati. The location of UMKM Dasawisma Twister is on Jalan Lempake Tepian, Rt.02 Gang Bubuhan, Lempake Village, North Samarinda District, Samarinda City, East Kalimantan. The activity started on July 6 and ended on August 28, 2024, using three methods: 1) Socialization, providing material on the importance of product legality in MSME businesses, observation, and interviews. 2) Identifying data, understanding important documents in creating product legality, and finding problems in MSMEs. 3) Conducting education on the importance of product legality in the Dasawisma Twister MSME business. 4) Inputting data as a requirement for submitting an application for a Business Identification Number (NIB) and Halal Certificate on the OSS and Sihalal websites through a self-declare scheme. The results obtained at Dasawisma Twister are still in the stage of obtaining a Business Identification Number (NIB) and the Halal Certificate.
