Abstract

Empowerment is an activity that encompasses processes, methods, actions that enable empowerment namely the ability to do something or the ability to act in the form of reason, effort, or effort to develop various aspects of community life, both material and spiritual, in order to achieve the ideals and goals of a nation. The process of empowerment does not occur on its own, but with the participation and involvement of the community to contribute to an activity so that it can be empowering. The location of community empowerment coincides in the Sarijaya Subdistrict, Sangasanga District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. During the empowerment activities, observe how to be involved in community empowerment activities. This activity involves farmer groups, communities involved in family welfare empowerment, and others. Supporting factors for empowerment in community activities are motivation and innovation in developing the area, while inhibiting factors in community empowerment activities are human resources and infrastructure.
