Sheep Productivity in the Baznas Program at the Subur Berkah Group: An Analysis Based on Farmers' Age Differences

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency, the poverty rate in Indonesia reached 9.36% in March 2023, because of this, BAZNAS was moved to provide productive zakat assistance to mustahik (zakat recipients). The assistance provided by BASNAZ is productive zakat in the form of 65 sheep for 10 mustahik people in Sulek Village, Tlogosari District, Bondowoso Regency. The research was carried out in Sulek Village on the Subur Berkah farm using quantitative descriptive research methods. Data was obtained by conducting non- participant observation. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson
correlation test using SPSS. The results of the research show that the litter size value produced in this study is 1.2, the mother and child mortality value is
7.29%, the population increase until January 2024 is 167 with the number of
female offspring being 87 and male offspring being 81. Based on the research
results it can be seen It was concluded that during the rearing process at KSB,
which initially received 65 sheep, during the observation period this had grown to 230 sheep. The results of statistical tests that examined differences in breeder age showed no significant correlation with the increase in sheep population, male ratio and sheep mortality, and there was a significant correlation with the litter size val.
