This study aimed to describe local potentials and enhance the utilization of available resources to support community food self-reliance. The activities focused on two main programs: the preparation of a Local Potential Publication and the BERAKAR Program (Empowering Communities through the Revitalization of Dasa Wisma and Yard Utilization). The publication was developed using a descriptive approach through the collection, processing, and presentation of data on regional conditions, infrastructure, facilities, and community potential. The BERAKAR Program consisted of training on the production of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) from household organic waste and the revitalization of Dasa Wisma gardens in RT 16 and RT 24. The LOF training applied a one-group pre-test and post-test approach involving 18 participants. The results showed an increase in the mean score from 86.11 to 93.89, representing an improvement of 7.78 points, with 12 participants showing increased scores. The Wilcoxon test result of p = 0.025 (p < 0.05) indicated a significant difference in participants’ understanding before and after the training. The local potential publication also provided structured information on the availability of 9 educational facilities, 35 health facilities, and 20 economic facilities. Meanwhile, the revitalization of Dasa Wisma gardens transformed previously underutilized areas into more organized and productive spaces for cultivating vegetables and medicinal plants, while also incorporating the reuse of plastic bottles as planting containers. Overall, the findings indicate that the integration of local data management, household organic waste utilization, and yard optimization can serve as a practical approach to strengthening the use of local resources and supporting sustainable community self-reliance.
