Abstract

Digital payment has grown rapidly in Indonesia, yet financial literacy among students remains uneven, particularly regarding a specific instrument such as the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS). This community service activity, titled QRIS-it, aimed to strengthen digital financial literacy and QRIS comprehension among students in Kelurahan Bugis through interactive education. The program used lectures, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions, followed by a pre-test and post-test design to measure changes in knowledge. Twenty-five students were involved in the evaluation stage. The average knowledge score increased from 43.60 (SD 16.55) before the education to 58.40 (SD 12.47) after the education, an increase of 14.80 points. A paired-sample t-test showed a statistically significant difference (t = 5.715, df = 24, p = 0.000). These findings indicate that the QRIS-it program effectively improved students' understanding of digital financial management and safe QRIS usage.
