The Bontang Kuala Subdistrict is a coastal area with potential in fisheries, tourism, and community economic activities that can be developed sustainably. However, optimizing this potential requires enhancing the community’s capacity to manage local resources and economic activities. This Community Service Program (KKN) aims to describe the implementation of work programs designed to support the optimization of local potential, enhance community capacity, and strengthen economic self-reliance in the Bontang Kuala Subdistrict. The activities were carried out using a participatory approach through observation, identification of potential and challenges, program development, and collaborative implementation with the community and relevant stakeholders. The programs implemented included a fisheries center through coral reef conservation, tourism development through the creation of profile videos and tourist destination maps, and financial education through the SAPA UMKM program and the “Edukasi Menabung Hemat” (Frugal Savings Education) initiative. The results of the activities show that the coral reef conservation program provided experience and understanding regarding efforts to preserve coastal ecosystems; the tourism development program produced digital-based informational and promotional media highlighting local potential; and the SAPA UMKM program improved business owners’ understanding of financial administration and record-keeping. The “Edukasi Menabung Hemat” (Frugal Savings Education) also helps children understand the importance of saving and basic money management. Overall, the implementation of the Community Service Program (KKN) contributed to strengthening local potential, building community capacity, and fostering sustainable economic and environmental management in the Bontang Kuala neighborhood.
