Financial literacy is an important life skill that should be introduced from school age to encourage responsible financial behavior. This community service activity aimed to introduce basic knowledge of money management, including the function of money, the distinction between needs and wants, pocket money management, and saving habits, to elementary and junior high school students in Sepatin Village, Anggana District. The activity was conducted on July 24–25, 2026, at SMP Negeri 006 Anggana and SD Negeri 016 Anggana, involving 50 junior high school students and 30 elementary school students. The educational methods were adjusted to the characteristics of the participants. At the junior high school level, the material was delivered through interactive presentations and discussions related to students’ daily use of pocket money. At the elementary school level, visual media and picture-sorting activities were used to distinguish needs from wants. Students were also introduced to simple saving media made from reusable materials, accompanied by the distribution of educational piggy banks. The activities were implemented as planned and received positive responses from students and school representatives. Students actively participated in discussions and learning activities related to spending priorities and saving habits. This activity demonstrates that financial education can be introduced through simple, contextual, interactive, and age-appropriate approaches to encourage responsible money-management habits from an early age.
