Community empowerment at the urban village level plays a vital role in strengthening the local economy, leveraging technology, and ensuring sustainable environmental management. Karang Anyar Urban Village in Samarinda City possesses economic and institutional potential supported by MSMEs, the Merah Putih Village Cooperative board, PKK groups, and waste banks. Observations and coordination revealed opportunities to further optimize this potential specifically through updating MSME data and formalizing their legal status, providing institutional support for the cooperative, optimizing hydroponic facilities, utilizing leaf waste, and developing a digital data management system for waste banks. This Community Service Program (KKN) aimed to bolster the local economy, digitize administrative processes, and implement appropriate technology tailored to the needs of the Karang Anyar community. The 40-day initiative employed a participatory approach comprising observation and coordination, planning, program implementation, and evaluation based on community participation and activity outcomes. The program focused on three key areas: fostering competitive MSMEs, supporting the Merah Putih Village Cooperative, and implementing appropriate technology and energy solutions. Key results included the verification of 13 MSME records and the issuance of Business Identification Numbers (NIB) to nine business owners, alongside outreach regarding logos, trademarks, and intellectual property rights. Cooperative support efforts ensured that administrative and bookkeeping systems were established andof shredders to assist with leaf waste management, and the development of data management websites for the Ceseri and Berseri Waste Banks. Overall, the program delivered support and technological solutions that foster economic strengthening, environmental management, and the digitization of community administration in a sustainable manner.
