The Community Service Program in Loa Janan Ulu Village implemented a multidimensional community empowerment approach encompassing food self-sufficiency, environmental sanitation, and financial education. The activities employed educational and participatory approaches through socialization, demonstrations, provision of supporting facilities, coordination with village authorities, and collaboration with schools and relevant institutional partners. Five programs were implemented, including the Village Green Movement, Provision of Waste-Sorting Bins, Organic Waste Utilization through Composting Buckets, Early Saving Habit Movement, and Introduction to Capital Markets and Investment. The programs distributed approximately 300 chili and tomato seedlings, provided five sets of waste-sorting bins across five hamlets, reached three elementary schools with ten classes and approximately 225 to 270 students, and involved approximately 70 to 80 vocational high school students in capital market and investment education. Evaluation using the SMART framework showed that all programs achieved their predetermined indicators at the implementation and immediate output levels. The findings indicate that combining education, practical activities, facility provision, local coordination, and institutional collaboration can accommodate target groups with different characteristics within a single community empowerment initiative. The results do not yet demonstrate behavioral change or long-term program impact. Post-program evaluation is therefore required to assess the sustainability of practices and benefits after the completion of the Community Service Program.
