Community resilience requires preparedness for disasters as well as environmental awareness and supporting facilities. Kelurahan Makroman, Samarinda, has experienced various disaster events, including tidal flooding, fallen trees, forest and land fires, landslides, and residential fires. This community service activity aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness and environmental awareness through evacuation mapping, disaster preparedness education, waste-sorting education, and the provision of waste-sorting facilities. The activities were conducted as part of KKN Kolaborasi 52 in Kelurahan Makroman from July 13 to August 22, 2026, using participatory and educational approaches through field observation, coordination, mapping, and community education. The disaster preparedness program produced an evacuation route map containing five disaster risk categories, evacuation routes, administrative boundaries, and four assembly points. The map was equipped with a QR code linked to a disaster preparedness handbook and a digital map, and was introduced to approximately 37 community representatives through a preparedness session. The map was subsequently approved by the Kelurahan Makroman government. The environmental sanitation program provided waste-sorting education to 50 fifth- and sixth-grade students at SDN 012 Sambutan and produced one set of waste bins consisting of organic and inorganic waste bins. The facilities were permanently placed at the Kelurahan Makroman office. These activities demonstrate that the integration of information media, education, and supporting facilities can provide a practical foundation for strengthening community resilience and promoting environmentally responsible behavior.
