Abstract

The 52nd Community Service Program (KKN) of Universitas Mulawarman was implemented in Gunung Sari Ulu, Balikpapan, from July 13 to August 22, 2026. It aimed to strengthen local capacity in health, sanitation, and MSME digitalization through participatory collaboration. Activities included needs assessment, coordination, implementation, and daily process evaluation with local government, Puskesmas, neighborhood leaders, residents, and MSME actors. Outputs comprised two stunting-education videos, a web-based map of nine health indicators, sanitation media and environmental maps for five neighborhoods, eco-enzyme practice, AI-assisted marketing education, and a guide to business identification numbers and halal certification. Collaborative activities supported health education, community clean-ups, 50 biopores, and mapping of 58 MSMEs. The program produced reusable educational, spatial, and business-support resources. Because no post-program follow-up was conducted, long-term behavioral, environmental, and business outcomes could not be assessed. The findings support a multisector KKN model integrated with local institutions.
