Abstract

This community service article describes the implementation of KKN Kolaborasi 52 in Karang Jati Urban Village, Central Balikpapan, using a participatory and output-oriented approach that integrated three program pillars: stunting-prevention education, sanitation mapping, and digital support for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Door-to-door health education reached 30 RT and targeted pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and pre-marital adolescent girls with messages on balanced nutrition, antenatal care, and healthy living. Sanitation mapping across 33 RT identified 12 RT with temporary waste-disposal facilities, two RT with active community waste banks, and three RT with illegal-dumping-prone locations. The economic pillar surveyed 16 MSMEs; five received promotional banners, while all surveyed businesses received mentoring on QRIS and Google Maps registration. Because no pre-post or follow-up outcome measurement was conducted, the evaluation focuses on implementation processes and tangible outputs rather than attributing behavioural, health, or economic effects. The program is conceptually aligned with SDGs 2 and 3, 11 and 12, 8 and 9, and 17. The integrated model demonstrates how KKN can coordinate health, environmental, and local-enterprise support within one kelurahan-based collaboration, while follow-up measurement is needed to assess knowledge retention, waste-bank sustainability, confirmed digital adoption, and changes in business performance.
