The Smart Kids, Smart Saving program successfully improved the financial literacy of sixth-grade students at SDN 021 Tenggarong Seberang. The average score increased from 78.04 on the pre-test to 98.79 on the post-test, representing an increase of 20.74 points. A total of 43 out of 47 students (91.49%) saw an improvement in their scores, and no students experienced a decline. The results of the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test indicated a significant difference between scores before and after the education program (p < 0.001). These findings support the hypothesis that financial literacy education can enhance students’ knowledge regarding money management, needs versus wants, priorities in spending, and saving habits. The use of presentations, infographic posters, interactive activities, and hands-on piggy bank-making provided a concrete and participatory learning experience. The sustainability of the program still requires reinforcement through the school and family environments so that the increase in knowledge can develop into good financial management habits.
