"Semurut Eco-Friendly Village" is a community-based initiative aimed at strengthening the village's visual identity by creating a village icon from recycled waste materials. This program prioritizes community collaboration, the 3R principle (reduce, reuse, recycle), and intergenerational education as strategies to build environmental awareness and a culture of love. In addition to beautifying the village and providing a means for social interaction, this icon is also expected to trigger other innovations in an effort to support sustainable development based on local wisdom. This article comprehensively describes the planning process, implementation, achievements, challenges, and potential for program development within the socio-ecological context of Semurut Village.
