The Community Service Program (KKN) is a form of implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education through community service activities. KKN activities carried out in Rintik Village, Babulu District, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, focus on community development through innovation in the economic sector, particularly in agriculture and plantation, aligned with the village's development goals through dynamic and adaptive institutional frameworks that leverage partnership potential. The core program is training in making liquid organic fertilizer (POC) using corn waste, aimed at reducing farmers' dependence on chemical fertilizers, reducing production costs, and creating environmentally friendly agriculture. Apart from that, various educational programs are implemented, such as counseling about Islamic values (halal and haram, honesty, and the importance of saving), socialization about the importance of saving from an early age, a fish-eating campaign (Gemarikan), tree planting activities and education about forest conservation, education on forest conservation, as well as social programs such as training in the production of eco-enzymes and the use of solid waste as planting medium and for seeds propagation. The results of these activities demonstrate an increase in knowledge, skills, and active community participation in managing local potential independently through human capital. Moving forward, this program is expected to become a strategic step toward achieving community self-reliance, improving well-being, and supporting sustainable village development in line with the SDGs for villages as outlined by the Kemendes PDT.
