Abstract

The main problem faced by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pelita Subdistrict is the lack of awareness of branding and business legality. Many business actors are still digitally illiterate, resulting in limited utilization of online platforms for promotion and the absence of a Business Identification Number (NIB) as formal legal recognition. This situation restricts market reach and limits access to broader business opportunities. The Community Service Program (KKN) with the theme “One Action, Pelita in Synergy” was carried out to assist MSMEs, particularly the traditional snack MSME Untuk-Untuk Mama Mita. The program included the creation of promotional banners, an Instagram account for digital marketing, a promotional video highlighting local potential, and facilitation of NIB registration. In addition, the KKN team collaborated with the Samarinda City Food Security and Agriculture Office (DKPP) in organizing the Affordable Food Program (Gerak Pangan Murah/GPM) to provide staple foods at lower prices for the local community. The results show an increased awareness among MSME actors regarding the importance of branding and business legality, as well as the initiation of potential collaboration between the subdistrict government, related agencies, and the community to support sustainable local economic empowerment.
