Abstract

The Community Service Program is a form of student engagement with society aimed at applying knowledge, technology, and skills directly in the field. The Regular KKN Group 06 of Mulawarman University was conducted in Bandara Subdistrict, Sungai Pinang District, Samarinda City, for 38 days, from July 14 to August 20, 2025, involving ten students from various faculties. The program was designed through three categories: main, flagship, and supporting programs. The main programs included the development of a community potential profile, waste signage installation, and the innovation of aromatherapy candles made from used cooking oil. The flagship programs covered the creation of public service infographics, administrative maps, family medicinal plant (TOGA) cultivation, digital marketing training for MSMEs, microplastic hazard awareness, and nutrition and creativity improvement for children. Supporting programs involved student participation in local government activities, communal work, and integrated health service posts. The outcomes demonstrated tangible contributions to environmental cleanliness, community health, and local economic empowerment. Overall, this KKN program emphasized sustainable development in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the fields of health, economy, and environment, while strengthening the relationship between higher education institutions and the community.
