Abstract

Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata/KKN) is a form of student engagement with society and a means of applying academic knowledge in real contexts. The KKN program of Universitas Mulawarman was conducted in Telemow Village, Sepaku District, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, for 38 days, aiming to provide tangible contributions to the community while strengthening students’ social skills. The implementation methods included surveys, observations, focus group discussions (FGD), program planning, execution, and evaluation. The work programs were categorized into four areas: group programs (BIOSTAR, Landscape Telemow), community-targeted programs (T-Podcast, Disaster Preparedness, SOSINFO), school-targeted programs (TANOGASA, ABSTAR, Senyum Sehatku), and MSME-targeted programs (Brandku Identitasku, SIJITU, Pisah Uang Usaha Tenang). The results showed improvements in community awareness of environmental management, disaster preparedness, students’ health literacy, and MSMEs’ business identity and financial management. Overall, this KKN activity contributed to village development and provided contextual learning experiences that enhanced students’ empathy, collaboration, and social responsibility.
