Abstract

Community service activities through the Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) program aim to strengthen the role of higher education in empowering communities. The implementation of KKN Universitas Mulawarman 2025 in Kelekat Village focused on various programs in the fields of education, health, technology, environment, law, and social awareness. The methods applied were socialization and training, adapted to the characteristics of each program. Individual programs included the training of dishwashing soap production, the introduction of QRIS digital payment, education on stunting prevention, cassava peel waste processing, agrarian law socialization, and awareness of the negative impacts of gadgets on children. The group program emphasized the introduction of rocket stoves as a simple technology for waste burning and environmental education through information boards on waste decomposition. This activity supported the community’s need for effective waste management solutions, in addition to raising awareness about the importance of responsible disposal. The results showed that the programs improved community knowledge, skills, and awareness, particularly in sustainable living, health improvement, waste management, and legal literacy. This indicates that the KKN program not only contributes to student learning experiences but also has a direct impact on strengthening the self-reliance and development of the community.
