Abstract

Community service activities in Tanjung Batu Village focused on empowering MSMEs, strengthening village identity, utilizing local natural resources, and enhancing farmers’ capacity through appropriate technology. MSME assistance was carried out through digital marketing initiatives, including optimizing Google Maps, creating promotional content on TikTok, and implementing QRIS, which successfully improved visibility and transaction efficiency. Village branding was strengthened by promoting flagship products such as roti balok through media relations strategies and SEO, expanding market reach and building the village’s digital identity. Training on processing turmeric into instant herbal drinks encouraged the establishment of new MSMEs based on herbal products, opened business opportunities, and increased the economic value of local crops. In agriculture, training on processing organic waste into fertilizers and botanical pesticides, supported by microcontroller-based fermentation monitoring technology, improved farmers’ capacity toward self-sufficient and sustainable farming. Overall, these programs demonstrate that integrating technology, fostering active community participation, and optimizing local potential can drive adaptive and competitive village economic independence.
