The waste problem in Labangka Barat Village, Penajam Paser Utara, prompted our KKN Group PPU 28 to implement the "Waste Awareness Movement: Education and Action Towards a Clean Environment" program. This initiative aimed to enhance community awareness and skills in waste management through a 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) approach and appropriate technology. Key activities included making paving blocks from plastic waste, producing compost from agricultural waste, conducting ecoprint workshops to reduce single-use plastic bags, and installing educational banners with QR codes linked to an informative website. The results showed an increase in understanding and active participation from the community, especially the PKK women's group and the youth. This initiative not only provided practical solutions to environmental problems but also created potential for new economic opportunities through recycled products. Overall, this KKN program successfully triggered sustainable behavioral changes that support the creation of a cleaner and healthier village environment.
