Community Service Program (KKN) activities in Sumber Sari Village, Sebulu District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, focused on socialization and practice of making compost made from household waste to overcome the problem of increasing organic waste due to population growth. This composting aims to convert organic waste into useful fertilizer by paying attention to the balance of nitrogen and carbon elements to accelerate the decomposition process. In addition, KKN also involves the management and utilization of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) as a living pharmacy that supports independent public health through safe and easily available traditional medicines. This activity is expected to increase community awareness and skills as well as elementary school students in sustainable waste management and medicinal plants, thus supporting environmental preservation and improving the quality of life of the Sumber Sari Village community.
