Abstract

Anemia and stunting are two interrelated conditions that affect the long-term health of adolescent girls. According to Riskesdas (2018), 32% of Indonesian adolescents suffer from anemia, which increases the risk of stunting in the future. On August 7, 2025, the CERDAS Program (Preventing Anemia and Stunting from Adolescence) was implemented at SMPN 1 Balikpapan to raise awareness among adolescent girls about preventing anemia and stunting. 65 people participated in the program, which was organized in collaboration with the Gunung Sari Ilir Health Center and involved seventh-grade female students and members of the Adolescent Health Cadre. Initial observations, activity planning, material development, interactive education delivery, video screenings, ice-breaking activities, and pre-post test evaluations were among the approaches used in implementing the program. To evaluate the difference in knowledge scores before and after the activity, the Wilcoxon test was used to analyze the data. With a significance level of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), the results showed that 49 participants experienced an increase in scores and none experienced a decrease, indicating a significant improvement in knowledge. The CERDAS program successfully improved adolescent girls' knowledge about anemia and stunting prevention, and this program can serve as a model for school-based health initiatives.
