This article discusses business development in empowering palm sugar processing communities through product diversification in Semuntai Village, Long Ikis Subdistrict, Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province. The background to this activity is the low selling price of palm sugar, which is mostly sold in block shape, making the community vulnerable to price fluctuations and limiting its durability. The objective of this activity is to formulate a diversified product-based business development model for palm sugar processing to create added value and economic independence. The methods used include the planning of ideas, trial production of palm sugar cubes through a trial-and-error process, and the design of a business plan and packaging. The activity was conducted from July 28 to August 19, 2025, involving the Social Forestry Business Group (KUPS), the Village Forest Management Institution (LPHD), and the Kawal Borneo Community Foundation (KBCF). The results of the activity indicated three main achievements: the creation of more practical and hygienic palm sugar cube products, enhanced community capacity through training and mentoring, and the development of a business plan and product packaging. This diversification provides economic added value, strengthens the competitiveness of local products, and supports the sustainability of community-based enterprises.
