Abstract

The Climate Program 08 Thematic Community Service Program (KKN) of Mulawarman University in Loa Duri Ilir Village, Kutai Kartanegara, aims to strengthen the village's capacity to cope with climate change. This effort is carried out through environmentally friendly education and innovation, focusing on adaptation aspects to improve human resource capacity and develop existing environmental programs in the village. The program is implemented through educational and innovative methods that promote community awareness of environmental management and foster collaboration with various stakeholders, including other KKN groups. This initiative can have a positive impact on food security, waste reduction, and enhancing community understanding of the importance of environmental sustainability, thereby further solidifying Loa Duri Ilir Village's position as a model village for climate management in East Kalimantan Province.
