Community Service Program (KKN) is a form of student service to the community aimed at bridging the gap between the academic world and social life. This activity was conducted in Kampung Kayu Indah, Berau Regency, East Kalimantan, with a focus on identifying and prioritizing village potential using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The study involved 10 KKN student respondents who evaluated six main criteria: availability of resources, economic impact, infrastructure support capacity, suitability of village characteristics, environmental sustainability, and ease of implementation. The analysis results showed that environmental sustainability was the highest priority criterion (0.39), followed by village character suitability (0.16) and resource availability (0.15). From a sectoral perspective, agriculture (0.60) and livestock farming (0.23) are the main potentials, while tourism (0.08), small and medium industries (0.04), and fisheries (0.02) still have limited contributions. The economic activities of the community include organic mountain rice farming, corn, and vegetables; oil palm, chili, corn, and avocado plantations; freshwater fisheries for consumption; cattle, goat, chicken, and duck farming; SMEs producing processed foods, textiles, and refillable water bottles; and plans for river tourism and fishing pond development. Policy implications emphasize strengthening the agricultural and livestock sectors, facilitating raw materials and markets for SMEs, and preparing infrastructure and human resources for the tourism sector. The research findings are expected to serve as the basis for sustainable village development planning focused on community empowerment.
