Abstract

The Community Service Program is a form of student engagement aimed at supporting the realization of independent, healthy, and prosperous villages. The Regular KKN Program of Group Paser 23, Universitas Mulawarman, was carried out in Sebakung Taka Village, Long Kali Subdistrict, Paser Regency, from July 14 to August 20, 2025. The program focused on community empowerment through educational, participatory, and applicative approaches across six main areas: environment, finance, social issues, health, education, and development. In the environmental sector, socialization on biopore technology successfully increased community understanding of organic waste management, with knowledge levels rising by 50%. In the financial sector, activities included enhancing financial literacy among housewives and instilling early saving habits in elementary school students. The social sector focused on preventing bullying and sexual violence, resulting in greater student awareness of personal boundaries and safe environments. In the health sector, education on anemia prevention among adolescent girls strengthened awareness of balanced nutrition and the importance of consuming iron supplement tablets. In education, teaching activities in elementary schools and kindergartens improved literacy, creativity, and healthy living practices. Furthermore, village potential mapping using spatial data was conducted to support sustainable development planning. The results indicate that the KKN program made tangible contributions to enhancing community knowledge, skills, and awareness, thereby serving as a strategic step toward fostering independence and prosperity in Sebakung Taka Village.
