Abstract

Village development is the main foundation in supporting national and regional development, so it is necessary to map local potential in a targeted and data-driven manner. Pulung Sari Village, East Kutai Regency, has various potentials in the agriculture, plantation, livestock, social, and cultural sectors that can be optimised through the preparation of a Village Profile. The Community Service Programme (KKN) was implemented through preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages, including the development of a Village Profile, school layout design, the Family Medicinal Plant Programme (TOGA), and the ‘Happy Wednesday’ activity held in conjunction with National Children’s Day. The results of the activities indicate that this programme can contribute to improving the quality of education, health, and social empowerment of the community. With proper management of its potential, Pulung Sari Village has a significant opportunity to develop into an independent, prosperous, and competitive village.
