Abstract

Indonesia termasuk salah satu negara dengan jumlah anak yang tidak mendapatkan imunisasi lengkap cukup banyak. Imunisasi merupakan usaha memberikan kekebalan pada bayi dan anak dengan memasukkan vaksin ke dalam tubuh agar tubuh membuat zat anti untuk mencegah terhadap penyakit tertentu. Tujuan diberikan imunisasi adalah diharapkan anak menjadi kebal terhadap penyakit sehingga dapat menurunkan angka morbiditas dan mortalitas serta dapat mengurangi kecacatan akibat penyakit. Penelitian in bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu balita di Desa Biring Ere mengenai imunisasi dasar lengkap. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian adalah ibu yang memiliki balita di Desa Biring Ere yang berjumlah 11 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu angket. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat dengan uji T. Berdasarkan uji T, nilai p-value yang didapatkan yaitu 0,208; nilai ini berada diatas 0,05 sehingga tidak terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan yang signifikan sebelum dan setelah dilakukan penyuluhan. Seorang ibu berperan penting pada program imunisasi, sehingga pengetahuan tentang imunisasi sangat dibutuhkan. Tindakan dan perilaku seseorang atau masyarakat terkait kesehatan dipengaruhi oleh tingkat pengetahuan, sikap, kepercayaan, tradisi, pekerjaan, dan lainnya dari orang ataupun masyarakat yang bersangkutan.
