Penerapan Media Promosi Booklet Genital Hygiene Care Wanita Usia Subur (Gencawus) di Puskesmas Siko Kota Ternate

Pendahuluan: kasus pasien yang teridentifikasi positif terinfeksi penyakit menular seksual di Kota Ternate memiliki angka yang tinggu. Hal ini disebabkan oleh rendahnya tingkat pengetahuan tentang perawatan kebersihan alat kelamin luar. Tujuan dari pemberdayaan ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat tentang cara menjaga kebersihan alat kelamin untuk mencegah timbulnya penyakit menular seksual.
Metode : Kegiatan yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah: sosialisasi menggunakan booklet dengan materi sosialisasi yang berisi tentang konsep dasar perawatan kebersihan alat kelamin, cara menjaga alat reproduksi yang terdiri dari: (menggunakan pakaian dalam, perawatan saat haid, cara membersihkan dan merawat alat kelamin, penyebab, dan bahaya yang terkait dengannya). dapat dihasilkan)
Hasil: Wanita usia subur yang mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat sangat antusias, mulai dari tahap pretest, tahap sosialisasi Peduli Genital Hygiene Care, sesi tanya jawab, dan posttest. Hasil kegiatan ini dari 20 peserta 90% mengalami peningkatan pemahaman tentang cara merawat alat kelamin yang benar.
Kesimpulan: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat melalui media booklet dengan edukasi dapat meningkatka pengetahuan wanita usia subur dan meningkatkan pemahaman dalam melakukan perawatan alat kelamin. Media booklet ini dapat diterapkan sebagai salah satu media yang efektif dalam memberikan kesehatan alat kelamin.
