Pembuatan Permen Jelly untuk Kesegaran dan Kesehatan Tubuh dari Jahe bagi Ibu PKK Desa Cinta Rakyat Percut Sei Tuan Deli Serdang

Sebagian besar kegiatan sehari-hari masyarakat di Desa Cinta Rakyat Percut Sei Tuan kabupaten Deli Serdang Propinsi Sumatera Utara masih sebagai sebagai ibu rumah tangga dan turut membantu suami bertani dan nelayan. Desa ini berjarak ± 11 km dari kampus Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Indah Medan. Ibu-ibu di desa ini sebagaian besar tergabung di dalam kelompok PKK dan organisasi pedesaan dan berbagai kegiatan di desa, namun terbatas pada kegiatan-kegiatan keagamaan dan sosial lainnya, selebihnya banyak berdiam diri dirumah masing-masing. Permen jelly jahe berfungsi membantu meningkatkan kesehatan tubuh, menghangatkan tubuh, meredakan pegal-pega badan. Maka sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan menjadi suatu produk unggulan. Hasil produksi ini nantinya dapat dipasarkan melalui toko-toko keperluan sehari-hari, swalayan, rumah makan, maupun melalui koperasi unit desa yang berada di Kabupaten Deli Serdang, atau secara online. Metode Pelaksanaan yang ditawarkan untuk mendukung realisasi program, tahap pertama kegiatan ini adalah melakukan observasi dan pembuatan kesepakatan kerjasama dengan mitra. Masyarakat di Desa Cinta Rakyat Percut Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang Sumatera Utara, telah mendapat memahami manfaat Permen jelly jahe untuk kesehatan, keterampilan cara pembuatan, pengemasan, dan pemasaran Permen jelly jahe menggunakan bahan tumbuhan yang memberi sehat, kuat dan mudah didapat, dengan cara yang mudah serta peralatan yang sederhana. Kesimpulannya, masyarakat desa cinta rakyat kebanyakan bekerja membantu suami bertani atau ikut kegiatan ibu PKK, permen jelly dapat berfungsi membantu meningkatan kesehatan tubuh, maka berpotensi umtuk membuat produk permen jelly jahe dan dapat di jual di tokoh tokoh atau swalayan untruk menambah pendapatan keluarga.
