Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pembaruan kerja sama Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) Indonesia–Jepang dalam implementasi Artikel 6.2 Paris Agreement pada periode 2022–2024. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan analisis data kualitatif, serta kerangka analisis yang mengombinasikan model implementasi kebijakan George C. Edwards III yang meliputi aspek komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi pelaksana, dan struktur birokrasi dengan Green Theory sebagai perspektif normatif untuk menelaah orientasi keberlanjutan, keadilan lingkungan, dan komitmen ekologis dalam pembaruan kebijakan JCM. Proyek ID027: 10 MW Mini Hydro Power Plant Project di Sumatera Utara digunakan sebagai studi kasus empiris untuk mengilustrasikan implementasi pembaruan tersebut dalam praktik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembaruan JCM, khususnya melalui Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) tahun 2024, memperkuat integrasi JCM ke dalam Sistem Registri Nasional Pengendalian Perubahan Iklim (SRN-PPI) serta memastikan penerapan prinsip corresponding adjustment dalam pencapaian Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) Indonesia dan Jepang.
