Abstract

This study aims to describe the Optimization of the PKK Mobilizing Team in Improving Family Welfare in Bangun Mulya Village, Waru District, North Penajam Paser Regency, namely in planning, implementing and fostering according to the applicable rules and stages. This research was conducted in Bangun Mulya Village, Waru District, North Penajam Paser Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using descriptive qualitative methods. As for data collection techniques through observation and interviews, as well as through books and documentation. The data analysis used is an interactive model data analysis developed by Milles, Huberman and Saldana (2014). The results showed that the PKK Mobilization Team in Bangun Mulya Village, Waru District, North Penajam Paser Regency had made efforts to improve family welfare which could be seen from planning, implementing, to coaching activities even though it was not optimal. This is due to limited community funds to develop the results of the activities carried out by the PKK team, lack of understanding of the community in understanding what has been given and conveyed in the activities carried out by the PKK team, entrepreneurs or home industries are not running optimally because the community is less innovative and creative in developing ideas resulting from training and it is difficult to get young mothers to participate in PKK activities.
