Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

APPENDIX: Writing Format : Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Bidang Teknologi Informasi dan Sistem Informasi (PETISI)

General :

  1. Paper                         : HVS A4 (21.0 x 29.7 cm)
  2. Page Setup                 : Left 3 cm, Bottom, Right and upper 2 Cm
  3. Alphabet                     : Times New Roman, 10 pt, Black, 1 space
  4. Number page              : Top of Page, Right.
  5. Format file                  : .doc, docx
  6. Writing Language        : Indonesian and English
    In one manuscript only one language (except abstract) is clearly no mix between Bahasa Indonesia and English or any other language.
  7. Structure: Abstract; Preliminary; Materials and Methods / Review Library; Results and Discussion; Conclusion; Bibliography (written in Times New Roman, Capital bold, 10pt, justified).

Content :

  1. The maximum script length of 12 pages (including drawings and tables) is written justified.
  2. Paraphrasing the left paragraph of the line with the transitional distance of the new paragraph 6pt (the beginning of the paragraph is not indented inside)
  3. Title a maximum of 12 words (choose words and terms that are solid meaning, unique keywords, and able to characterize the entire contents of the script). Written in Times New Roman, Capital each word bold, 14 pt, Left.
  4. The ownership line consists of two elements, the name of the author and the institution of origin (Department, Faculty, Institution, e-mail).
  5. The author's name is written in Times New Roman, Capital bold, 12 pt, center. Institution's name is written in Times New Roman, capital, and small, 10 pt, Left.
  6. Abstract (summary) is presented in one paragraph using no more than 250 words. Written in Indonesian and English. There are major issues and reasons for the research and the main objectives to be achieved. Inform also the approaches, materials, and methods used, as well as the expression of the results and important conclusions obtained.
  7. The keyword consists of about 8 (eight) words or no longer than one line in length and a maximum of 8 keywords

Complete Script Includes :

  • PENDAHULUAN which leads the reader directly to the core of the essay by clearly addressing the problem faced.
  • TINJAUAN PUSTAKA contains the basic theories used, all theoretical basis should refer to the bibliography and given an anonymous number of authors, this section can also add to the way research methods developed.
  • METODE PENELITIAN : scientific way to obtain data with the aim of being able to describe, prove, develop and discover knowledge, theories, to understand, solve, and anticipate problems

  • HASIL DAN PEMBAHASAN is the essence of scientific writing. This section presents data and information found by researchers and used as a basis for inferences and even the preparation of new theories. It is generally presented in stages in three sections: description of data and information gathered, the analysis in accordance with the research design, and the interpretation and explanation of its synthesis, including supporting data in the form of tables, graphs, drawings or other auxiliary tools as necessary to clarify and shorten the description given.
  • KESIMPULAN delivered in accordance with the results obtained by researchers and written briefly and clearly in two or three sentences.
  • DAFTAR PUSTAKA the author of the bibliography refers to excerpts on writings, books, journals, and internet customize.
  1. Title table (times new roman, center, 10 pt) numbered and written on top of the table. (example: Tabel 3. Perbandingan Web Service dan Web Server)
  2. Title image : (times new roman, center, 10 pt) numbered and written below the image.
  3. The source of images and tables should be listed, if not the author's own work.

Illustration :
Figures (graphs and diagrams) and tables other than listed in place, are also made separately on other Pages of text with sufficient quality of sharpness and blackness, Photos in glossy or colorful format when required, minimum size 3 R (9 X 13.5 cm) Table, no vertical dividing line, and 3 horizontal borderlines.

Each quote in the text of the article should refer to the numbers in the References and written in accordance with the APA (American Psychological Association) style with the website: http://www.apastyle.org and the sequence of numbers corresponding to the quotation.

  • For June Edition (Number 1) Last on May 10th
  • For November Edition (Number 2) Last on October 10th
