Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscript Submission
    Manuscripts must be original research papers presenting novel contributions relevant to animal nutrition in tropical contexts.
    • Submission is electronic via the journal’s online system.
    • The corresponding author must confirm the manuscript is not under review elsewhere.
    • Submissions that do not follow these rules will not be considered.
  2. Manuscript Structure
    • Title
      • Clear, informative, and concise, not exceeding 14 words.
    • Authors and Affiliations
      • List authors’ full names without academic titles, followed by institutional affiliations and email addresses.
      • Indicate one corresponding author with contact details.
    • Abstract
      • Maximum 200 words in clear, proper English.
      • Include 3–5 keywords reflecting the main topics.
    • Introduction
      • Present background, review related studies, research aims, and highlight the novelty and significance of the work.
    • Methods
      • Describe research design, data sources, and analytical tools in detail.
    • Results and Discussion
      • Present findings clearly and concisely.
      • Discuss the study’s contributions and novelty in relation to existing literature.
    • Conclusion
      • Summarize key findings and, if applicable, suggest policy implications aligned with the results.
    • References
      • Cite references preferably >80% published within the last 5 years.
      • Minimize textbook references (<20%).
      • Follow APA style strictly (see Section 6).
