Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Psikoborneo: Jurnal Ilmiah Psikologi is a scientific journal published by Department of Psychology Faculty of Social and Political Siences Mulawarman University. This journal provides platform for researcher, academician, professional, practitioner and students to contribute and share their knowledge in a form of empirical study or case study.

 1.    FORMAT

  1. Screenwriting generally follows the rules set out in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th.
  2. Articles are written on A4 paper with margins (left 2.5cm, right 2cm, top 2cm, bot 2cm), using Candara letters size 12, space 1.
  3. Articles range from 10-17 pages.
  4. Headings without numbering with a maximum of two subheadings, for example:

HEADING (E.G., RESEARCH METHODS)

(The text in this paragraph is indented first line with spacing after 6pt).

 

Sub-Heading 1 (e.g., Research Subject)

If the 1st stage sub-heading is "Research Subject", then the text in this paragraph explains it.

 

Sub-Heading 2 (Italic, No Bold).

       5. Paragraph indentation left 1cm
       6. The beginning of the start page uses One Column, and the next page uses Two Column with spacing of 0.8cm width of 7.85
       7. Bibliography must use reference manager with APA 7th format
       8. Minimum References of 20
       9. Maximum referrals for the last 10 years and with a journal cap of 75%
       10. The mandatory plagiarism rate is below 20%.

 

2.    TABLES AND FIGURES

Use of tables and figures:

  1. Tables and images must be captioned (title/caption) using uppercase letters at the beginning of the word (title case), letter size 11pt, and using align left (align left) (ctrl+L) and with sequential numbering. For the caption the table is placed on top, while the image below
  2. Tables and images are always symmetrical in the center (centered) against the page and are made with a size that is not too small.
  3. Try to use two-color images (black-and-white).
  4. Images are included in soft copy form in JPEG format. The source of the image is mentioned at the bottom of the image if it is not its own work. Permission to use or proof of ownership of the image must be included if the image is copyrighted by someone else.

 

3.    SYSTEMATICS

This journal consists of several sections starting from the Background, followed by Research Methods, Research Results, Discussions, and finally conclusions and suggestions. Every section or sub-section in this journal is written without any labeling of letters such as A. Introduction, B. Research Purpose, and so on, but all parts are made paragraphs.

In writing articles, you can use the template below, this is done to make it easier for authors to submit to the AJI INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SOCIAL SCIENCE
