Nusantara Tropical Fisheries Science (NTFS) is a journal published by the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science of Mulawarman University which was published in August 2024 with a total of 11 scientific articles published. Scientific articles published are the results of research on the scope of the latest comprehensive interdisciplinary approach to the subject of tropical aquatic biota biology and fisheries. The publication of these 11 scientific articles has gone through a standard peer review process and is in accordance with the applicable code of ethics. Please refer to and cite every scientific article in the NTFS that is in accordance with your research topic.

Journal Overview

Nusantara Tropical Fisheries Science Journal adopts a comprehensive interdisciplinary approach to the subject of tropical aquatic biota biology and fisheries. It draws contributions in the form of major synoptic papers and syntheses or meta-analyses that lay out new approaches, re-examine existing findings, methods or theory, and discuss papers and commentaries from diverse points of view. Main areas include fish and all other aquatic biotas, molecular biology and ecology, genetics, biochemistry, physiology, ecology, behaviour, evolutionary studies, conservation, assessment, population dynamics, mathematical modeling, ecosystem analysis, aquaculture, fish processing technology and the social, economic and policy aspects of fisheries where they are grounded in a scientific approach.

Currently, this journal is accepting manuscripts in English or Indonesian but we intend to publish issues in fully English started in the year 2024
