Abstract

The mass media plays an important role in preventing and eradicating corruption in Indonesia by disseminating knowledge to the public about bribery. This research uses films from the Anti Corruption Film Festival (ACFFest) as its focus because of the theme of corruption raised. The research method used is descriptive quantitative by analyzing content using the Holsti model. The samples were taken using a saturated sampling method (census), where all scenes from the film population were used as samples. The research results show that there is a tendency for corrupt behavior in several ACFFest film scenes. It was found that 59% of the scenes showed acts of cheating, 18% showed scenes of extortion, 15% depicted embezzlement in office, and 8% showed scenes of bribery. Several films in ACFFest also depict various forms of corruption such as petty corruption, active and passive corruption, theft, fraud and conflicts of interest.
