Abstract

Literacy includes not only the ability to search for and understand information, but also the essential skills to assess and use information correctly. Cooperation between universities is more than just giving people access to resources, but also building a flexible information literacy culture, which enables people to overcome new difficulties and take advantage of new opportunities.  This cooperation is intended to support the development of comprehensive information literacy among the academic community. This research was prepared with the aim of to find out the form of cooperation held by the Center for Knowledge Management of Padjadjaran University (Unpad). Knowledge Management Center of Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) and the Library of Universitas National Development Veteran Jakarta (UPN Veteran Jakarta) can work together as an effective way to improve information literacy among the academic community. as an effective way to improve information literacy. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study research method. research method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participatory observation, and document analysis. and document analysis. The results showed that there were four forms of forms of cooperation that have been carried out within 1 year, namely the development of literacy program, library collection exchange, development and expansion of journal services, and research collaboration. access to journal services, and research collaboration.
